Nation of Patriots Flag Ride

 Join us as we ride to deliver the Traveling Flag to the American Legion Post 56 in Albert Lea, MN.

Every year the Nation of PatriotsTM organizes a national effort that pays tribute to, and honors, all of America’s Armed Forces – Past, Present, and Fallen. This united effort is known as The Patriot TourTM.

The Patriot TourTM consists of one American Flag being carried through all 50 states, escorted by tens of thousands for 115 days straight all in honor of America’s Armed Forces members. The Patriot TourTM is a vehicle through which we strive to unite Americans beneath the colors of our nation’s Flag and behind the men and women who bravely stand up to defend them.

Everyone is welcome!

This ride is open to everyone and all motorcycle riders regardless of brand.

This is a rain or shine event. In the event of rain, we will deliver the Traveling Flag in cages (cars).

Please register if you are planning to participate in the 2024 Patriot Tour ride.

Schedule of Events:

  • 10:45am - Pre-Ride meeting/blessing.  Show up at the Wild Prairie Harley-Davidson Dealership with a full tank and arrive early to get signed in.

NOTE: The dealership will be closed on Sunday so make any restroom stops before you arrive for the ride.

  • 10:55am - Kickstands UP
  • 11:40am - First ride stop is New Prague (Kwik Trip #926). Riders from Albert Lea and Faribault will meet us and join the ride to Albert Lea, MN
  • 12:00pm - Estimated departure from New Prague.
  •   1:30pm - Second ride stop in Bergdale Harley-Davidson for staging of the flag and riders
  •   2:00pm - Estimated time of arrival at American Legion, Albert Lea, MN
  •   2:15pm - Flag reception ceremony
  •   2:30pm - Lunch served by and at the American Legion Post 56 in Albert Lea, MN after ceremony.

Ride Route to Albert Lea: (108 miles, estimated 2hrs 43 min without stops or traffic)

  • Wild Prairie HD to Valley View Rd
  • Left on Mitchell Rd to Spring Rd
  • Left on Spring Rd to Flying Cloud Dr
  • Right on Flying Cloud Dr to Hwy 101 south
  • Exit round about to Hwy 101 South
  • Right after the 101 bridge onto Hwy 69 (Old Brick Yard Rd)
  • Left on 10 Ave W to Adams St S
  • Right on Adams St S which turns into Marystown Rd
  • Straight on Co Rd 15 (Marystown Rd) to Hwy 282
  • Left on Hwy 282 east to Hwy 13
  • Right on Hwy 13 south to Co Rd 8 (roundabout)
  • 1st exit on Co Rd 8 west at roundabout
  • Left on Hwy 21 south to New Prague
  • Stop at Kwik Trip #926 for break and to meet up with the riders from Albert Lea and Faribault
  • Right on Hwy 13 south to Montgomery
  • Left on Hwy 21 east to Co Rd 3 south
  • Right on Co Rd 3 south to Waterville
  • Left on Hwy 13 south to Co Rd 14 just north of Albert Lea
  • Left on Co Rd 14 east to Bancroft
  • Right on Co Rd 22 south
  • Left on East Plaza St to Bergdale Harley-Davidson
  • Stop at Bergdale Harley-Davidson
  • Exit Bergdale Harley-Davidson, Left on Bridge Ave
  • Right on Fountain St
  • Left on S Broadway Ave to American Legion.
