Nation of Patriots Flag Reception

Join us as we receive the Traveling Flag from the American Legion Post 621, St. Augusta, MN.

Every year the Nation of Patriots^TM organizes a national effort that pays tribute to, and honors, all of America’s Armed Forces – Past, Present, and Fallen. This united effort is known as The Patriot Tour^TM.

The Patriot Tour^TM consists of one American Flag being carried through all 50 states, escorted by tens of thousands for 115 days straight all in honor of America’s Armed Forces members. The Patriot Tour^TM is a vehicle through which we strive to unite Americans beneath the colors of our nation’s Flag and behind the men and women who bravely stand up to defend them.

Tenative Schedule of Events:

• 12:00pm - St. Augusta American Legion Riders arrive to deliver the traveling American flag

• 12:00pm - Chanhassen American Legion Honor/Color Guard present colors as the St. Augusta American Legion Riders arrive

• 12:10pm - Flag reception ceremony

  • Pledge of Allegiance
  • Flag folding presentation
  • Flag transfer from St. Augusta Flag Bearer to Wild Prairie Flag Bearer
  • Opening Speech
  • Guest speaker
  • Wild Prairie HOG Chapter Chaplin
  • Closing Speech

• 12:30pm - Lunch following ceremony
