LOH Fundraiser Recap - 18-Month Calendar 'Women Who Ride'

In 2009 the Wild Prairie LOH selected Cornerstone as the recipient of our holiday fundraiser. Cornerstone is a local nonprofit organization that fights domestic abuse by providing shelter services, programs and support to women and children.

Accident Scene Management Classes

Our HOG Chapter has scheduled two Accident Scene Management courses. The Basic is being conducted on Saturday March 13 and the Advanced on March 14th. These courses are being conducted at the American Legion in Chanhassen.

I'm with the 204th ASMC which is based out of Cottage Grove Minnesota, we are currently deployed here in Basrah Iraq. Just a few days ago we received boxes of gifts from you guys, most of which had sweatshirts and hooded sweatshirts. I just wanted to tell you guys how awesome you are for doing that! Sometimes it seems like people back home forget about those of who won't be so fortunate to spend the holidays with our families. We all appreciate this great act of kindness on your part.

SUPPORT OUR TOOPS

It is hard to believe we are entering into the much anticipated Holiday Season! Over the last few weeks, I have been working with military contacts to identify a group that our chapter could adopt. I received a lot of positive and encouraging feedback from the Board of Directors and chapter members when I brought this idea up at HOG Breakfast and in various interactions. We expect that, as in the past, HOG members will step up to the challenge and help provide our hard-working troops with some extras that will make their holiday season merry and bright!
