About the Clinic
Would you like to learn more and practice Group Riding?

Whether you have been on a motorcycle for one month or 20 years, there is always something we can learn to enjoy group riding… after all education is life learning and not just a destination.

Whether you are HOG member, MVP Member or just enjoying motorcycling, you are invited to participate in a hands-on Group Riding Clinic.

On and off your bike, you will learn and practice:
1. Starting from a ‘stop’ on a flat surface, on a decline and a incline
2. Skill of cornering within a group
3. Staggered formation – what is it, distance between bikes, and how to manage gaps
4. Hand signals – what and when to use
5. Parking as a group
6. Riding Apparel – what is good, better and best; what to carry
7. Minnesota Laws – whether you ride by yourself or in a group
8. Role of Road Captains in group rides

Clinic Information:
 Date(s): Each clinic is offered on Tuesday, July 27 and again on Tuesday August 17.
 Please Register: Send Chris Hawver an email, indicating which date you will be attending (chrishawver@hotmail.com)
 Starting Location: Wild Prairie Harley-Davidson, and we will ride to our practice location - Wooddale Church Parking lot (Eden Prairie)
 Kick-stands up at Wild Prairie: 6:15pm. Please arrive with an empty bladder, stomach, full tank of gas.
 Duration: Approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. After the clinic, participants are invited to ride to a restaurant for celebrate their learning’s and fill an empty stomach.
 Waiver: You are responsible for your own safety. This is a free, volunteer conducted clinic, but all participants are required to sign a waiver in order to participate. Note this clinic augments Riders Edge and does NOT replace these courses.
 MVP Point – MVP members will earn one (1) MVP point for attending.
